What is your primary product or service?
Alarm Monitoring, installation and service. Fire alarms, cameras, access and consulting.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Rod Rieger was an electrician in Pennsylvania and moved to Everett in 1994 where he started working on the Microsoft Campus servicing and installing cameras and access control systems.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
AVSS does not require a contract for monitoring service nor does AVSS use propitiatory equipment. AVSS can also use almost all existing alarm systems.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
AVSS now has only one location due to the economy, but still services the entire Puget Sound.
