How long have you been in business?
Since 1985, so that's 30 years as of 2015. Wow, no wonder I have grey hair...
What is your primary product or service?
All types and chemistries of Batteries and all battery and DC electrical items. It's a long list.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My dad and I started this business in 1985 because everyone needs batteries from time to time. It's the perfect blend of business for us: we have commercial, retail-consumer, reseller (wholesale), municipal, and armed forces customers from all over the U.S. And Canada.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our people! We hire bright, motivated folks who have friendly dispositions. Next, we train them and keep on training them so they are knowledgable in all types of batteries and charging. Batteries are changing a lot! Finally, we sell really good lines (manufacturer brands) and a really wide variety of products for those lines. "Good people selling reliable batteries for everything" is our mantra!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently, there are 8 Pacific Power Batteries locations: Everett, Marysville, Mount Vernon, Bellingham, Monroe, Lynnwood, Kirkland, and beautiful Wenatchee, WA. We also offer franchises in WA, OR, and ID. You can visit our franchise website at www.pacificfranchising.com for that info.

Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The Ahmann family, and Steve Ahmann runs it.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday-Friday 8-6 (Everett opens at 7) Saturdays 9-5 Sundays 9-5 most stores, but call first, because it can vary by season.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Friendly, helpful staff and that we have the battery that is needed.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
We treat our customers (and employees) as we would like to be treated. The Golden Rule works!
